New Vintage Mickey Mouse Tees From Junkfood!

Junkfood is constantly searching for the hottest new licenses for their famous brand. Just think of all of their past licenses - Little Miss & Mister, Felix the Cat, Where the Wild Things Are, NFL, and Alice in Wonderland to name a few. Most of these have been huge successes due to the Junkfood's careful selection and unique take on each of them.

One of their newest editions is vintage Mickey Mouse collection. Think back to The Mickey Mouse Club, not the Britney Spears & Justin Timberlake version, but back to the days Annette and Cubby and the Mouseketeers. The artwork has the simple look of the true hand drawn Mickey and Minnie that has been lost with today's digital versions.

The tees also have a washed down, aged look with distressed graphics and heathered fabrics. New body styles like the raglan sleeve and vintage sweatshirt only add to the appeal. Junkfood's new Mickey Mouse tees and NFL tees are available for both men and women so stock up now before it's too late!

Rebel Spirit Clothing Arrives on Scene!

Surpassing the limited vision of mainstream fashion, Rebel Spirit Clothing has taken the hottest urban inspired trends and added their own unique flavor. Their original graphics are bolder and edgier than the other styles in the current market due to real attention being given to even the finest details.

Most of their tees and hoodies start with a darker background like steel gray, black or green, but they also use crisp whites and a few fashion colors. Their edgy designs play well off of these backgrounds with graphics grounded in black, gray, cream, or white that incorporate pops of red, gold, yellow, gray and blue. With graphic designs like skulls, angel wings, crosses, mythical creatures and crowns, Rebel Spirit tees are definitely on the cutting edge of fashion. Bold rhinestones and foiling add dimension, texture and the all important bling!

Layering Rebel Spirit tops is super easy when you put them with an inexpensive tee or tank from Tresics or LA Made. You could also wear them with a boyfriend style blazer for a trendier look. No matter what tops you wear with your Rebel Spirit tee, you definitely want to wear your t-shirt with denim! The brands we like the most with these tees are MEK Denim, Rock Revival, Vintage Big Star and Anoname Jeans. They all have a more vintage, broken in feel that captures the casual, laid back attitude of Rebel Spirit Clothing!

Back to basics with classic tees and hoodies from Tresics!

Layering continues to be a huge trend this season, partly because of all of the vests, jackets and revealing silhouettes available. The other reason is that it is just fun to layer! You can mix and match solids and prints to create dozens of unique looks out of just a few pieces.

The important thing when layering is to have a variety of basics in different colors and shapes. Everyone needs a basic short sleeve tee, long sleeve tee, and tank in black or white, but beyond that it's a matter of personal preference. You might start by taking a look at your wardrobe and seeing what colors will compliment your existing items. By compliment, I don't necessarily mean "match" since a lot of the fun with layering is adding pops of color. For example, if most of your wardrobe consists of black, gray and other neutrals, you might want to consider adding reds, pinks, purples and bright blues.

My favorite brand for inexpensive basics is Tresics. They offer tanks, tees, hoodies, camis, cardigans, tunics and more in enough colors to make your head spin! Because they are so inexpensive, you can stock up and really add some energy to your wardrobe. With Tresics light weight tops, layering a breeze year round and their soft cotton spandex blends are figure flattering. My favorites are their long sleeve tees which I can layer under graphic tees, tanks and hoodies!

Where The Wild Things Are Tees Are Back in Stock!

I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival the movie "Where The Wild Things Are" for what seems like forever now. The postponement and remake of the film have only heightened my anticipation as it promises to be amazing.

Of course, I am not the only one who has been looking forward to the movie premier. Taking cues from this pop culture phenomena, Junkfood Clothing added 2 new additions to their funky assortment of Where The Wild Things Are tees. The raglan is a sporty top with gray burnout sleeves and a gray and red screen print. They also offer a light pink burnout thermal with a soft screen print. Both styles are lightweight, so they are perfect for any time of year. Layer them up with a vest or a jacket or keep it simple with a basic cuffed short.

Other licenses we will soon be adding from Junkfood include Nascar, Disney and NFL. You'll love the vintage touch that they add to Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and all of your favorite football teams. With their feminine fits, you won't have to worry about looking like one of the guys.

Ed Hardy Keeps Going Strong!

Hotter than ever, Ed Hardy continues to maintain it's place as a fashion leader. Their license has been seen on nearly every celebrity and every type of product imaginable making Ed Hardy a must-have. You may not want to jump onto the Ed Hardy bandwagon with both feet, but you can start small with an Ed Hardy tee like those available at The Denim Shop. We've shopped for stylish yet budget friendly tees in bold prints and bright colors so that you will get the most Ed Hardy for your money. You'll love the Vegas inspired design of the Love is a Gamble tee for women as well as the Gothic Pirate Skull tee for men with it's flat and metallic screen print. Look for caps and new t-shirt styles to be added soon!
Ed Hardy fragrances are another great way to spice things up! Their fragrances have just the right balance of light and dark to wear year round. Our favorite is their Life, Love, Luck perfume with it's light floral, citrus overtones and warm, soulful background notes. You're destined to fall in love with at least one of them!

Fluxus is a Huge Celebrity Favorite!

Seen on countless celebrities, Fluxus is a key brand for the fashionista who sets the trends instead of following them. Some of our favorite celebrities who have been "caught" wearing Fluxus are Hayden Panettiere, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Lauren Conrad and Shanae Grimes. It's also been shown in Lucky Magazine, In Style and People. The best thing about Fluxus is that their burnouts, vests, and tanks are well priced for those of us who are value conscience! You can wear the exact same tee as your favorite celebrity without emptying your wallet!
